Ayilyam Pooja

Ayilyam Pooja is dedicated to the serpent god and goddesses – Nagaraja and Nagayakshi. It is performed on the Ayilyam day in the Hindu months with much pomp and splendor. The main offering is the Noorum Palum.

In Nedungad Puliyampilly Bhagavathi Temple Ayilyam Pooja was celebrated on Octobet First 2013 (KANNI 15). Large number of devotees gathered and special pooja’s were offered to the deity Nagayekshi Amma .
